Jerome Yorke

Jerome Yorke is a theatre-maker and educator specializing in ensemble-based physical theatre. He has 20 years of national and international professional acting and performance experience from Bali, Indonesia, to Abu Dhabi, UAE. His approach to theatre making and performance blends imaginative storytelling, eccentric characterization, clowning, and acrobatic dance styles. Jerome holds an MFA in Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International, is a core member of Audatious Raw Theatre (A.R.T), and a certified Alexander Technique teacher. Jerome is an Associate Professor of Physical Theatre for the University of Dayton’s Theatre, Dance, and Performance Technology program, teaching acting, movement, puppetry, and clowning. He is also a recipient of the Ohio Arts Council’s Teaching Artist in Residence Grant in partnership with the Cincinnati Waldorf School to Enhance Creative & Artistic Learning through Play for the ‘24-’25 school year.
